This program designed for who may not yet meet the entry requirements needed to begin their degree:

• Those who have obtained a high school diploma with low grades.

• Improving grades for those who want to study in a special field such as engineering, which requires high grades in scientific subjects such as mathematics, physics and others.

• For those whose academic path is different from the path and field they wish to study in the bachelor's degree.

Admission requirements for the foundation year

The student needs to have score of 4.5 in the IELTS exam, provided that the score is not less than 4.0 in any aspect of the test to join the foundation year. If the student does not have official English language qualifications that would enable him to enroll in the foundation year, such as the IELTS test, the student can first study at institutes specialized in teaching English before starting the foundation year.

Duration of the Master's Program

The student can obtain a master’s degree within a period of one or two years, according to the education system in the country and university. The duration of studying the master’s degree in (Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Ireland) is only one year and may extend slightly according to the program, while the duration of studying the master’s degree in America and Canada are for two years.

Types of Master's Study:

Master's degree by course work , A Masters by Coursework is a professional qualification involving the study of a specified set of core units and a selection of eligible elective units

Master's degree by Research involves the submission of a completed thesis based on an independent research project. Students studying a Masters by Research work independently with the support of a supervisor and the School. Students may be required to attend units to help expand skills in the area of research.

Admission requirements for master's program

PhD program

A doctorate is a type of research degree and the highest academic degree that a student can obtain in universities, where a doctoral study is based on a major research project in an area of academic and practical. Therefore, the student is required to write a research proposal topic when applying for a PhD study, so that the proposal contains a literature review, Conducting original research and collecting your results, reducing a thesis that presents your conclusions, and when the student’s proposal is accepted by the university committee, he can apply for the doctoral program.

When does the PhD application start?

It is possible to apply for a doctoral study at any time during the year, the starting date of the study is usually in the month of October in USA and Canada. And In other countries, such as UK and Australia stars in January, April or October of each year, but it is possible to start in any month of the year if the supervisor agrees to the date of the start of the study.

How long does it take for an application to get accepted?

After the supervisor’s initial approval, the papers are formally submitted to the university and the application takes 6 to 8 weeks to make a decision from the university administration before issuing the doctoral acceptance.

Duration of PhD study

The duration of the doctoral program in most universities in the world usually takes three to four years full-time, and six years part-time, which is a research study, and in the last year the doctoral student writes a PhD thesis and submits it to the university and conducts a PhD discussion.

Admission requirements for PhD program

The requirements for admission to the doctoral program in general in universities are similar. The most important requirements are to have a bachelor’s degree with honors and a master’s degree, in addition to the IELTS test certificate, and to have a score of 7.0 or any other certificate equivalent.
